“ The Chow Hound is an old-fashioned greasy spoon situated in the heart of Green River, Utah. Home of the melon festival in Utah. Green River is not a big city, and the Chow Hound is one of the hubs of food there. With that being said, it's a great experience when it comes to a greasy spoon diner. The burgers are nice and plump and full of flavor. They offer fries, curly fries, and onion rings, all fried to perfection. They even offer to add cheese to the fries, which is a definite must. They even offer Shakes, thick and sweet. Currently, they are offering Girl Scout cookie Shakes. So get em while they last. Overall, The Chow Hound offers a great respite for an empty belly. Sure to satisfy. ”

They use high quality, whole ingredients for the ice cream. We saw the employee dump a jug of milk or cream into the ice cream machine. Their pizza was also delicious. Highly recommend and we'll be stopping a third time the next time we're in the area. ”
