“ The taxi salad was good enough but tiny. One taco shell with meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato and black olives. The service was horribly slow. The girl started taking our order then left to get someone else's order. So a guy finishes taking our order. We ordered a milkshake and "blizzard" for after the meal and we're told we'd have to come back and remind them. We did and it took about 15 minutes to get 2 ice cream "blizzards" Oh well, better than getting a sharp stick on the eye. ”

“ After reading other reviews, we were really excited to treat our 3 little kids to a classic roadside burger joint and Chow Hound did not disappoint! We couldn’t decide between burgers or pizza so we tried both and everyone was very happy. The burgers had that crisp flat-top sear, the pizza was very cheesy and rich just like we prefer. We were pleasantly stuffed but plan to visit again before leaving town to try the frozen treats. Thanks Chow Hound! ”

Green River is not a big city, and the Chow Hound is one of the hubs of food there. With that being said, it's a great experience when it comes to a greasy spoon diner. The burgers are nice and plump and full of flavor. They offer fries, curly fries, and onion rings, all fried to perfection. They even offer to add cheese to the fries, which is a definite must. They even offer Shakes, thick and sweet. Currently, they are offering Girl Scout cookie Shakes. So get em while they last. Overall, The Chow Hound offers a great respite for an empty belly. Sure to satisfy. ”
